Guidelines for Submission
General Requirements
- To submit a free paper abstract, prior registration as a symposium participant is not mandatory.
- Free paper participants who have submitted an abstract and been selected for oral/poster presentation are required to register and make payment as a symposium participant.
- Failure to complete registration and payment as a symposium participant will result in the scientific work not being included in the PIT
- Fetomaternal event.
- The oral or poster presenter must be the principal researcher or a research team member (1 person) from the authors of the scientific paper.
- Each free paper participant may submit more than 1 (one) abstract.
- Scientific works must be original and have not been previously published.
- Abstract submission can be done by uploading the abstract through the event website.
- The deadline for abstract submission is March 15, 2026 (terms and conditions apply).
- The determination of free papers receiving oral or poster presentation categories will be announced via the website and email no later than March 31, 2026.
- The schedule for free paper presentations will be announced via the website and email.
Abstract Writing Guidelines
- Abstracts should be written in both Indonesian and English, with a maximum of 300 words , using Times New Roman font , font size 12 , single spacing.
- The title should be written entirely in Capital Letters , Times New Roman font , font size 14. The title must be specific, clear, concise, informative, descriptive of the content, and appealing.
- Author names should be written in full, without titles or abbreviations , in order with the first author listed first, followed by research team members, and finally the corresponding author (if different from the first author).
- The first author is required to present their scientific work.
- Affiliation should be written in full, not abbreviated. Example: Universitas Syiah Kuala, Banda Aceh, Indonesia.
- Research abstracts should contain: Title, Researcher Names, Institution, Background, Objective, Methods, Results, Conclusion, and Keywords.
- Case report abstracts should contain: Title, Name, Institution, Introduction, Case, Discussion, Conclusion, and Keywords.
Full Paper
- Papers should be written concisely and clearly in Indonesian according to the Enhanced Spelling System (EYD) and standard medical terminology guidelines.
- Papers should be typed in Indonesian , Times New Roman font , font size 12 , 1.5 spacing , with margins of 4 cm from the left edge and 3 cm from the top, right, and bottom edges.
- The number of article pages should not exceed 10 pages , including tables and figures , and excluding the Front Page/Cover and References.
- References should be arranged according to Vancouver Style.
- Research papers should contain: front cover, Indonesian abstract, English abstract, introduction, objectives, research methods, results, discussion, conclusion and suggestions, and references.
- Case report papers should contain: front cover, Indonesian abstract, English abstract, introduction, case, discussion, conclusion and suggestions, references.
- Full Paper File Titles:
– Research = Fullpaper_P_Full Name of Participant_University (abbreviated)
– Case Report = Fullpaper_LK_Full Name of Participant_University (abbreviated)
– Example: Fullpaper_P_Dayank_USK or Fullpaper_LK_Dayank_USK - The complete paper must be submitted in softcopy PDF format via email to freepaper@pitfetomaternalaceh26 no later than April 5, 2026
Oral and Poster Presentation Guidelines
Oral Presentation
- Oral presentations will be delivered using Power Point format (PPT or PPTX).
- The time allocation for oral presentations is 8 (eight) minutes for the presentation and 2 minutes for Q&A with judges and the audience.
- Presentation slides should use the template provided by the Committee.
- Presentation slides must be submitted via email to freepaper@pitfetomaternalaceh26 no later than April 20, 2026.
- Oral presentation participants are expected to be in the room 15 minutes before the event begins.
- The presenter for oral presentations is the principal researcher (1 person) from the authors of the scientific paper.
- The schedule and room for Free Papers will be announced via the event website or email.
Poster Presentation
- The content of the poster, according to the type of free paper, is as follows:
- Research: Title, Researchers’ Names, Affiliation, Introduction, Objectives, Research Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion and Suggestions, References.
- Case Report: Title, Researchers’ Names, Affiliation, Introduction, Case Description, Discussion, Conclusion, References.
- Posters must be submitted in JPEG image format, with the following specifications:
- Poster resolution 300 dpi (screen resolution size 2160 x 3840 pixels).
- Portrait position, 9:16 aspect ratio.
- Font size not less than 8 mm (minimum font size 22), larger is better if possible.
- The proportion of images and tables should be at least 50% of the total poster area.
- Poster Presentation time is 5 (five) minutes including Q&A.
- Submission of the e-poster file must be received by the committee no later than April 20, 2026, via email to freepaper@pitfetomaternalaceh26.
- The e-poster file to be submitted should ideally have been corrected and no further changes should be made.
- Poster presentation participants are expected to be in the room 15 minutes before the event begins.
- The presenter for poster presentations is the principal researcher (1 person) from the authors of the scientific paper.
- The schedule and room for Free Papers will be announced via the event website or email.
